phone turns off itself

My samsung galaxy y s5360 turns off itself very so many times in a day. Mostly i have to restart it or once in a while it restarts itself. Please tell me the solution.

This could be the result of a bad battery or application that is installed on the phone. Backup all data and do a factory reset. If the problem continues then consider changing the battery for a new one. If still the problem continues then you might need to send it back to the carrier or Saumsung for repair or replacement.

Am facing the same issue with my Galaxy s duos . I tried the factory reset but no improvement. Should I replace the battery ?

If you can try another battery, it'd be a good test.

A cache clear in recovery may help too.
