Press Menu --> Go Settings-->Security

Uncheck the Require pattern and Clear the Set Password if you have one

There is an App called "no Lock" that will disable your need for swipe.

Having 2 locks is kind of dumb...

if you push the power button then the menu button.. you dont have to swipe

There is an App called "no Lock" that will disable your need for swipe.

I use this too. Eliminates the slide-down lock screen and also lets me wake screen by pressing the optical pad
