Just thought I'd see if anyone received the update we were texted about a couple weeks back...

Do you get an update message?
where/what to look for to see if you've been updated?

Yeah, I got it yesterday. It will send you a notification when it's ready to update

I got mine a few days ago. It shows up in your notifications when its ready.

I have noticed considerable improvement in battery life. The bigger improvement for me is that now I can send and receive MMS messages while on WIFI.

Has anyone else noticed their signal getting worse with the update?

From my desk at work I used to get constant 3G with three to four bars and now I'm looking at one to two and a whole lotta EDGE

I got mine from another forum, I've noticed way better battery life, signals not too bad either.

Interesting. I haven't received mine yet (I'm patient, I'll wait for T-Mo to push it to me), but IIRC they said everyone would get theirs by tomorrow. Ok, I have a few more hours yet, but I hate being tail-end Charlie...

Can you check on it with "Settings -> System Updates"?
