Phone vibrates even when it's not in silent mode

I have my Samsung Galaxy S Blaze's vibration setting set to "only in silent mode." However, even when my notification volume is turned up, I still get a vibration when I receive a new text message (in addition to hearing the notification noise). This did not always happen on my phone... How would I go about making sure I'm only getting vibrations in silent mode?

Welcome to the forums!
Have you checked settings to see if vibrations are set in Messaging? That may override the vibrate only when silent option (Seems counterproductive, I know, but worth a shot)
