Phone vibrates like it got a notification but nothing shows up

Hmm..only vibrate I get is when I turn phone on. One small vibrate and that is it. I would see if it is an app causing it to do that.

My first thought was this as well since I use this feature but the purpose of the feature is to alert you to a notification that you missed so if he picked up the phone and felt it there should be something there to see!

True. I have this feature turned on but I never lay my phone face down. I just have it on in case I do lay it face down. OP must have something else going on. I'm wondering if it is a bad app.

my phone does this as well. it is random, maybe once a day or twice sometimes. no notification pops up, just a small vibrate. it does when the phone is just sitting on the table. I have never figured out why

Do any of you have a smartwatch? My phone will vibrate with no known notification, but it seems it does this when Im out of range of my watch.
