Phone Viruses

I have a samsung s22 Ultra. Somehow my phone is remotely controlling my boyfriends phone. Going through the logs, we discovered a "Samsung BBQ Project" and a bunch of connection code. When I run certain apps on my phone, his phone buttons turn on and off, things get moved around, etc. We downloaded the Google Family Link app and created an account and this is where it all seemed to start. My phone was bluetoothed to his phone. I have turned off all wifi, bluetooth and sharing apps, and things still are controlled on his phone through my phone. If anyone can give me any direction on this, I would appreciate it.

Family Link shouldn't do that kind of thing. Is there a reason why you tried it? It's intended for parents to supervise their kids' devices, so it's not useful between two adults (assuming they behave like adults).

I cannot get a screen shot... we found it in both of the phone logs. Also, my phone model is listed in his phone and his in mine. We got the Google Family App because we thought it would work well if one of us is out and about and needed to know the location of each other, we both have serious health issues. He immediately removed the created profile and deleted the app on both phones, but my phone was already bluetoothed to his phone. The only thing we saw in both logs that looked "Virus" termed is the Samsung BBQ Project, but google presents nothing.

You mean the phone won't allow you to take a screenshot? How are you trying to capture the screen? If you continue to have problems, then use one device to take a picture of the other's screen.

There's no need for Family Link to share your location. That can easily be done in the Google Maps app using the Location Sharing option.

We got a pic from another phone, but that phone is also infected and won't allow to send texts or messages. Soon as I can get that pic, I will post it here.
