Phone will not ring at times with Clean ROM

I just installed CleanROM on my VD 2.2 Optimus S and I noticed when the phone sits for a while it will not ring for incoming calls, I think it may have to do with the cpu going to low and not waking, any ideas?

Give a little more info please.

Make sure that airplane mode is off and that the ringer is enabled and turned up (not on silent). Also, be sure that you have a good phone signal in your testing area.

Did you wipe all the caches and data before flashing, the flash the debugFORMAT....zip? (I can link if you need)

Did you flash a different kernel?

What CPU controller are you using and what are your settings?

Phone is in normal mode of course, full bars volume up.

i wiped cache and data then flashed clean rom 2.2

i didnt flash any kernal although i think the rom has a different one (picasticks). im not using a cpu controller.

i have this issue with my phone where it rings for like one sec and then mutes itself. I have check setting and volume control and even downloaded volume control from the market. I don't have anything that automatically changes my volumes or ring tones installed, but it keeps ringing on silent and have missed many important calls due to this. any help would greatly be appreciated. I even have changed ROMS and still having same issue. Please help
