Phone wont boot up

Hey all,

i'm new to android and i'm trying to help my GF. She has a Motorola Photon Q phone that was given to her. it's already unlocked but it wont boot up. It's stuck on the sprint screen. I've tried flashing different ROMs but no luck. Granted, I've never messed with installing different ROMs on Android phones. I'm a BlackBerry user and installing leaks and hybrids are a bit different from this. If anyone could point me in the right direction, it would greatly be appreciated!

overnight , still no boot. i've tried factor resets and everything, all resulted the same.

i've been trying to install an SPR using RSD Lite 5.6 and it continues to fail. I've donwloaded the correct file for the phone. Is this phone totally screwed? would it be worth taking it to Sprint or no.

I would take it in to Sprint and get it replaced.
