Phone won't charge properly

Please help. The past two days have been hell getting my SII to charge. It will charge for about a minute, and then will jump to 100% and stop charging because it thinks it's full. When you unplug the charger, the battery will jump back to the actual level, which is usually lower than it was before plugging it in. I have three chargers and it does it with them all. It's tsken me all day messing with it just to get it up to 70% charge. Any ideas what this may be? Only other thing I've noticed happening that started about the same time is an app called "Daily Perks" pops up at an irritating rate, and since it came with the phone it can't be uninstalled. It will pop up anywhere between 5 and a couple hundred times a day and all I can do is go to "manage apps" and force stop which only stops it for a short time.

Try cleaning the usbport with air spray / airduster or similar. It helped me with charging problems.

Wow, I forgot about posting this. Thanks for the tip. Out of sheer frustration I called my carrier and it turned out my phone still had 3 days left of warranty, so it has been replaced. Thanks for the help though Theoxdor

Cool, glad you got it replaced just in time. It never hurts to ask the questions for a replacement or repair under warranty.
