phone won't connect to wifi with excellent strength

I restarted my phone and cleared all the cache. I am sitting next to my wifi and trying to connect to it with my LG Spectrum which says it has excellent strength, but when I click connect it just stays as 'saved'.....it has never done this before so any help is appreciated.

the first time you tried did you put in the correct password? Are you using the right authentication method?

Oh, my wifi does not have a WEP password or any password. I live in a very low populated area around very old people who would have no idea how to connect to my wifi. Anyways, I am sure it's the right network...100% positive it is the right authentication.

check to see if there is a ip conflict. I would forget the AP then reapply. Also, what type of router (a/b/g/n)?

It is a linksys router and it is not a static IP issue.

I am not talking about static ips but any ip conflict can cause issues. You also might want to try changing the channel on the router, there might be interference
