Phone won't go into Recovery mode: Red ! Triangle
Nexus 6 with Android 6.0.1
The bootloader is unlocked and the phone is not currently rooted.
I flashed 6.0.1 all stock to the phone. Previously had stock 6.0.0 with TWRP recovery which was installed when I first put 6.0.0 on the phone via NRT. I have manually flashed stock recovery to the phone using a download of the Factory Image from Google and the fastboot flash recovery recovery.img command, which returned successful confirmation messages.
I can boot into fastboot but when I select Recovery, it displays an Android robot on its back open with a red exclamation point triangle.
Other than that, the phone works fine and 6.0.1 is installed with the latest security patch as I wanted.
I want to make it have stock recovery so that future OTA security and updates will install. I'd like to get the stock recovery installed without wiping the data.
