It's a Note 5 and I consider myself a pretty experienced Android user when it comes to Developer Options but this has me a little stumper.
When it's not plugged into anything it will stay in MTP mode but as soon as I plug it into my car (Android Auto) or into my PC to download pictures etc from the phone (with a white OEM Samsung cable) it automatically switches to charging only.
When I go into Developer Options and try to switch it back to MTP it just switches for a second and then goes back to charging when the option closes.
Debugging is also on and I recently did the 7.0 upgrade to Nougant to try and fix it.
Is there something else I need to do to make sure this stays in this mode?
