Phone won't stop showing sync to google

My phone continually shows a sync symbol, and after checking on the accounts/sync it is the Google sync. It's been doing this to me for a day or two now -- just showing a "sync" going on yet never resolving.

Anyone have this issue?

Rebooted twice, finally went away.

That never happened with my OG. I think HTC and Verizon have a lot of work left to do with this phone.

Still doing it again this morning. Anyone else having an issue with google sync? I will delete email and 20 minutes later it will show up on my laptop's gmail as not deleted (phone still shows a sync symbol active).

Just yesterday I noticed the Google sync failing too. Message something like "we're having trouble, but we'll be okay later"... (well, something like that ). I think it's a Google sync server issue.

i'm having the same issue with mine also. since i don't have alot of emails or important stuff to sinc, i just cancel it until it works itself out.

Btw, I cancelled the Twitter for HTC Sense sync (I had it turned off and it kept turning back on) and now gmail works fine. Not sure if that was a reason for the problems, but everything's been fine since I removed that sync relationship.

The software on this phone is buggy my guess why the launch was delayed.
