Phoneless till 7am! Oh the irony!

I have knowingly been babying my Blackberry Curve along so I could make it till tomorrow. It had/has water damage but worked 99% of the time until last night! All of a sudden, the only thing that will work is the trackball scrolling... no clickable button works!

Anyways, this pretty much caps off my 1.5 years of Curve misery (5 in total, this last one was my fault though).... the poorest performing phone next to dumb phones! I'm so glad that the essex aka tour2 aka bold got so delayed or I'd be stuck with that junk again basically (but I'd have a sweet trackpad and wifi for waiting so long, lol)

I'd also bet there are TONS more that will be taking the EVO route for the same delay and hardware reasons with the essex.

My appointment is at 7am @BB.... I'm ready to unleash the fury!

I was ready to go to the Bold, then I thought about jumping to Verizon for the incredible when Sprint couldn't tell me when the Bold would arrive. Lo and Behold, the day I was ready to go to the VZW store, I caught wind of the "Iphone Killer". The rest is history, I'm still debating whether to go at 6am or 8:30am tomorrow

same here, i dropped my Pre yesterday and it broke. I havnt had a phone since then.

I've got 2 charged Evo batteries and ready to get a new phone tomorrow

Funny, as I was in the exact same boat, but with the Nexus one. The day I searched for specs on the N1 was the day they announced this phone.

And here I thought I was the only one! Today my Pre's touchscreen failed, and nothing can be done to bring it back Had it since launch day. I'm excited and nervous about leaving WebOS's UI.

I am in the same boat. I've have the BB curve 8900 and have had nothing with problems. Sent it back 4 times and they upgraded me to a free Bold 9700. Got the Bold 2 weeks ago babied it, just sold it on EBAY an hour ago lol. Cant wait for tomorrow.
