Photo Gallery Issue

I have run into an issue when trying to open up my photo gallery on my Epic. It will try to open up the gally and shows "Loading image...", but then it force closes. The message pops up "The application Gallery (process com.cooliris.media) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again". Any ideas on what might be causing this? It's never been an issue before, but has been doing this for about 2 weeks now. Any help is appreciated.

My gallery has always been real slow or force closed. I downloaded QUICKPIC from the market as a replacement for the extra slow standard gallery app

Awesome, thanks for the advice, i'll have to check it out. I feel like I may have deleted the file for the gallery, so that may be my issue
