Photo Quality of MMS photos, help?

Does anybody know how to change MMS photo quality? I got a replacement device today because my screen broke, and for some reason now when i save people MMS photos that they send me, they are of very low quality. Some kind of setting has got to be off. I had this problem with my DNA once and managed to tweak it out, cant figure it out on this one though. Any thoughts?

You sure it's not just the fact that they are MMS pics? MMS only allows for limited size of files, so pics are normally scaled down to lower resolutions prior to sending...
