When I download the photos off my LG phone onto my computer they are huge... annoying to have to resize them to view. They never used to be that large... something changed recently. I tried to choose a smaller size in the camera settings but that didn't work. What am I missing???

Have you tried looking into the settings in your computer? Sounds like it's trying to open the pictures 'full size' instead of 'fit to frame'. Smartphone pictures these days, even at the lowest resolutions, would not fit a regular computer monitor without some cropping.

Just viewing the replies now. Never got a notification about them. Anyway, I usually transfer the photos from my Android LG phone to my laptop via USB. I have always used IrfanView photo software to view them, but somehow in the last month or so when I open each photo it is huge... 3264 X 2448. I tried changing the size in settings to 640 x 480 but I have to do it for each photo and then re-save them. Is there another way to size the photos on the phone? Thanks

The photos have probably always been that resolution. It's more likely that there's some setting in your photo viewer that you have to adjust to make it open to fit the screen, rather than at full size. Look in the menu options for "Fit image to desktop"

Yup, gotta be a 'view' setting in the program you use to view the photos. Unless you have a VERY old phone, your pictures were never 640x480 (for reference, that's the original resolution of SD TV's and VGA monitors).
