Photon 4g Extended Batteries?

My stock battery is lasting about 8 hours on average with heavy usuage. How are all the extended batteries are you guys using? Im reading mixed reviews on all of them.

Anyone use the $20 one from trexcell (i think thats the brand) off of amazon?

I had the photon for 2 days and I like it but by the end of a 6 hour school day the battery is already below 20 percent....is this normal?

Since having this since saturday, and yes I've been playing with it a lot, it comes off charge at 5am and goes back on at 11pm, with 30 remaining. Stock rom, rooted, 3g unless I need the extra speed, wifi when I can, brightness low, most updating widgets removed.

Why would my phones battery life be so shorter? Mine is rooted with 3/4g as well. Could it be because my phone roams for the majotity of my day when im in class?

Having to find signal kills the battery, I live in the baltimore/dc metro area, so anywhere I am is strong signal.

Also, having 4g radio on kills the battery, along with any auto updating widgets...

I'm not new to android so I know a bit about conserving battery.

I got the one from amazon works pretty good 7 8 in the morning till 11 12 at nightwith out it going dead with heavy usage constantly surfing web txt pics and if i forget to charge it it will go all day at 15% with light use the next day
