Photon losing 4G

...mine won't connect to 4g after shutting wifi off now... Its strange. I haver to reboot which is dumb

Went to Sprint today and they are getting me a new one. It is suppose to be here on Monday so we will see what happens. I hate the fact that its a refurb but they said all touchable parts are brand new and only the circuit board is reused.

Got my new Photon yesterday and the 4G works great. Now....the proximity sensor is messed up. As soon as you place a call, the screen goes black as if you are holding it ip to your head but it is actually in my hand. I have to press the power button to light up the screen to end the call. Have you heard of this before?

I've had that problem when I had my Epic. That's the proximity sensor.

Now I am having another issue. Some Mobile IP Registration Response error or something like that keeps popping up at the top left corner with what looks like a checkered flag or something. I goggled this and it looks extremely common, but no real fix. Have you seen this issue before? Looks like just about everyone with a Photon has experienced.

I've seen that on my Photon before. It usually happens when I'm on a call and I'm assuming it's trying to go online for something.

Mobile ip registration error means it can't find the network. Basically, yes is common, but not in the dc metro area.

Mine just did it when I switched over to my nexus... And switched back.

I just got the photon today. My 3g was terrible. It wouldnt load anything internet. 4g wasnt working. Etc etc.

I went in settings>about phone>system updates

Updated my PRL and updated my profile! Works perfect now.

Try it yourselves and let ne know if its a fix or just lucky?

Mine also quit doing the annoying registration error too!

Honestly, you don't want to know how many tones I've updated profile and prl...

Most times i use 4g, it'll take a nap in the middle of loading...
