My Nexus 5 is on 5.01 update at present and the stock Photos app is completely doing my head in.
All stored photos (in the stock photos app) and personal videos are a majority of synced material from a previous phone or actually taken with the Nexus 5 camera.
When I come to browsing my photo/video contents, all I get is persistent 'Buffering' round and round and then I just give up.
The synced material is usually the main problem here, but occasionally it will affect everything.
Sometimes if I switch WIFI on this helps but not always.
Q. Am i supposed to have wif 'turned on' to get the photo app to perform?
Q. Is this a common/known problem that Google are trying to overcome ?
Q. Is there something I need to change/set up ?
