Photos converted to videos while uploading to googledrive

Hi, I went away at the weekend and took 190 odd pictures and videos (got a bit snap happy). When I came home I uploaded the lot to Google drive to share with friends. I selected all images and it asked to convert to image or video file. I chose video file as I didn't want to lose my amazing shots of the coast. During upload all images were converted to a 2 second video and has also done the same to the images in my phones gallery.

I've probably not worded this right so I hope someone understands what I mean. Basically how to I convert my images back to images please. Any advice would be great, thanks.

If you have them still on the phone, upload them as image files. Delete the videos if you like.
There is a setting in the camera to just take pictures.
