Photos deleting from gallery

Hi, after a certain length of time I have noticed that my photos are getting deleted from my gallery. I am currently using google photo's and microsoft one drive, could one of these apps be automatically deleting them after backing things up? Thks

Where are these photos saved to? Are they taken by the phone's camera and saved to /DCIM/Camera? Or are you downloading them from somewhere and they're remaining in the /Download directory? If the latter, then the phone might have an automatic cleaner app or function that periodically cleans out the /Download directory.
