Android Central Question

I am using linux system. I want to transfer the photos from my smartphone (android sytem) to the computer. In the DCIM file, only old photos are shown and the recent photos are missing (those taken since 2 years ago). I tried many solutions found here on this forum such as :
- deleting the cash data
- changing the privacy setting
- changing the cable
- using the MTP mode and etc.

But none of them seems working. I checked also the path where the photos are saved: the new one are saved on the same path as the old ones. So it does not make sense that DCIM shows only old photos. In addition, the cash file is shown the date of today as its last modified date. It would be a great help if someone says how I can solve this issue.

I tried also to use KDE but recently I do have problem with this application, so I rather prefer to transfer data with a USB cable.

Welcome to Android Central! On the phone, use a file manager app to look directly in the /DCIM/Camera directory. Do you see your more recent photos there?

I finally understood why it was not displaying. No enough space on my computer. And thanks to suggest to check on another computer. It was only like that I found the solution.
