I saw the blue at Costco yesterday, is a nice color.

Went and looked myself, it's a dark blue color in the store. Different lighting will effect how it looks.

I still think it's awful they had to pair the blue with that hideous yellow s-pen. Make it blue to match the phone with a lighter blue for the screen off memos.

I think the color of the Spen is to make it look like the color of a #2 yellow pencil, so it will look like your taking notes while using it on the "Note 9".
Certainly nothing to be a deal breaker if your looking at this type of phone..
Put the phone in a case and it color the Spen with a sharpie, or go buy an iPhone and put in in a case and have no Spen...
I'm wondering when there's going to be an iPen?

I went to a bestbuy close to my job last Saturday, or Sunday, don't remember, here are the quick pics I took.
I think the blue on the Note 8 looks better, but this will have to do; I couldn't get a blue Note 8 at launch because they released it after.

None of which you should have to do when spending over $1k... For an electronic device. For that amount, one should be able to get EXACTLY what he/she wants. IMHO

These were taken at Best Buy at the Samsung display in Salem NH.
The Note 9 on the left is the one with the purple back, looks gray to me but I'm color blind. So does it's S-pen.
The Note 9 on the right is the Ocean Blue model with it's baby chit green S-pen, not that I think the color of the S-pen matters..

Ugly carrier logos are no longer on Samsung recent flagships. They finally got the balls to say no to carriers for that but still let them fill up with bloat. They are making progress slowly and may be one day get control like Apple who says carriers to **** off.

How easy would it be to be able to tap the note to chime the spend, and to find the note by tapping the pen. Must be an app for that, or is it an option?

More likely it was so people wouldn't misplace it within the first month.

Best buy had a full access model. Bluetooth pen may come in handy for photo taking I messed with it . It will also play next songs etc if you're playing .music

I'm in the same boat for once. I want to see people's first reactions. I don't think this one will blow people away upon first unboxing, especially if you're coming from a Note8 or S9+. Most of the updates are "under the hood".
However, it seems to improve upon everything slightly from the Note8. So, it will be a winner, just a little unremarkable at first.
I will get one at some point (hopefully at the end of the month) as I don't see myself going to the S10.

I read an article recently that suggested that there won't be a Note 10... It's just too expensive to make for the niche it fills.

Personally, I like the idea of a Personal Digital Assistant that exists outside the phone--holding your calendar to your ear while making appointments is ridiculously impractical...
