A
Android Central Question
When I use my messages app and select the new message icon, I get a new message with 30 pictures already attached to the blank message. This happens every time even after I go ahead and sent the 30 pictures to someone. I have to remove them every time if I don't want them to go to the new selected recipient. The messages are from an old deleted message chain about a nephews prom. I think I accidentally selected all the photos inside the message before I deleted the chain (I get punchy with the delete button when cleaning up some times). Now the pictures are no longer on my phone in "My files", "Photos", "Gallery", "Drive", nowhere I can find them at least, to see if they are still "selected to send". I have had this problem for a few months.
I have tried: 1) sending files to flush out current message 2) deleting and sending a message with no pictures attached 3) resetting message settings 4) setting restrictions on multimedia in messages 4) I cannot uninstall messages or I'd try that
Thanks for any suggestions.
