I was waiting for the "furry kids" pictures! Thanks. Camera looking great. Can't wait until tomorrow.

Great picture!
This makes me excited! Returned the S10+ because of the camera ...

You won’t be disappointed. It’s probably just a software thing but the Note 10+ really takes much better pictures, especially in low light. I also partly got the Note because of that.

Is there a size limit on pics to post here. I have a live focus one doesn't seem to be working (12MB)

The little guy moved a bit - absolutely love the camera though. Leaps and bounds better than the S10+ I had before

Interesting because it is the same camera (plus the depth sensing one).

It’s gotta be due to software changes. Could also have to do with the new Exynos processor, though. The old one was inferior in terms of image processing to the Qualcomm.

I just know that the night mode pics now rival those of my Pixel 3 XL and during the day / with good lighting the S10+ already had great image quality.

The software now also stopped turning pet fur into mush on pictures.

If you watch the camera reviews and comparisons on YouTube, I’m not the only one who noticed strong improvement.

Well I had to resize to get the file size down (original 12MB)

Live focus, B&W background mode, low light, no flash

If that means fewer blurry pictures of my kids indoors, that would be great. It would give me more motivation to stick to the Note rather than considering switching to the Pixel.

Well, night mode (neither on the Pixel nor the Note) won’t help you with moving objects. Low-Light performance of the Note is rather good though, even without night mode

I was aware of that. I was just thinking more about lower light shots when it's not dark enough to use night mode. Though, of course, quality of low light still shots is not at all indicative of how well it will deal with moving objects. So my mistake on that one.
