Living room like Annacker's Midden before we go to bed using the wood burner to get the drying done overnight haha Obviously the cats are quality testing the heat also...

It is a phrase I've been brought up with since 1978 since my Mum's Glaswegian and her side of the family (ancestors) stem right back to the Viking days in Northern Scotland (but the direct family originates from Glasgow)

F31 325D M Sport for me

Just about to rebuild every part of the suspension & cooling system to give it a full overhaul with it being on 99k miles and everything original 2015!

Had an F01 730D SE Luxury & Japanese import E39 540i Sport saloon before; but keeping the F31 for probably another 2 years as we're heavily paying the mortgage off and should have it paid off by the time I turn 47

Then I'll get myself a new car or if I can find one, a very well spec'd G31 540i M Sport touring

They are great looking cars. You have taken good care of that 2015 as well. I only have 17k in my car so I hope to keep it for a good amount of years... I've always been jealous that we don't get them touring models models

Yup; I love the touring. My other BMW touring was also a Japanese import, E39 530i Sport



It was absolutely immaculate in every way; typical of Japanese cars as they don't use salt on their roads and with the mainly dry climate, no rust whatsoever

I only sold the 540i saloon as I missed the modern tech of the previous F01 and the 540i was a project really. Sold it after 6 months and wanted to buy an F11 530D M Sport touring, but settled on the F31 in the end as for only the 2nd time in my life; it was a local car that had the spec I wanted and ticked the boxes etc

Grim day here weather wise; but dry this morning so managed to give the BMW a contactless wash. The last one of 2023 and the last one before my op on Wednesday renders me useless for a good few weeks




Quite happy with how well the Folds pictures come out; can't tell any difference between the and those on my IP14PM

Will see how it fares when I take some brighter & more detailed shots
