Wow. Those photos are just gorgeous. I especially like the one in front of the window. Thanks for posting!

Thanks man. I classify myself as a amateur photographer so always looking for good shots. In right lighting the S7 is quite capable. I had the V10 prior and while I think those pictures gave a bit more of a natural lighting, their is a certain level of pop i'm enjoying with the S7 and focus speeds are a lot better.

Even in low light if there is some ambient lighting shots still come out great. This was in the parking lot of a supermarket after the snow storm:

Since people are posting photos of their dogs, I would be remiss if I didn't do the same. :) We try to take her out with us ever Saturday on our errands. She was waiting for her other daddy to come back to the car today. I take lots of car photos of her and this is by far the sharpest one I have ever taken. Really happy with this camera.

What made you get an S7 instead of keeping the V10?

Quick question for everyone, do you prefer using the. 4:3 aspect ratio or the wide? Do you still take shots sideways with the 4:3 mode?

I keep it in 4:3, no benefit for me changing it as I can always crop later. One thing I noticed when I used zoom And saved a raw copy. The raw file is not zoomed at all. It gives the full sensor image.
