Nice shots guys. Im a photographer hobbyist. Bit sick of lugging around my rx100 just in case, but I always have a phone with me. Im looking at the mate 20 x as I prefer flat screens.

In comparison to the Mate series camera, the single 1.55micrometer pixel sensor on the P20 camera and lens, can you get just as close for macro shots, and how do they turn out in portrait for quality of blur (bokeh level)?

I think the P20 is the best value for money camera phone on the market, not the best but 95% as good imo as the mate 20 just on the single main lens.

So I dont know if I really need to spend 2x the money if the p20 would satisfy. i work with lightroom.

Any thoughts appreciated.

Small request. When posting your beautiful photos, could everyone please add what mode/settings were used for that photo? Not that my photos aren't good, I just don't seem to get the amazing quality as others. Would be helpful and greatly appreciated.

I used auto with Master AI on most of the time. If I find that the image is not looking good on the viewfinder, I will just close the AI prompt before taking the shot.
