Is there any way to access your photos from your camera screen or can u only access them thru gallery

In the corner of the camera screen is a small icon with the image of the most recent photo taken. Press that to access the rest of your photos.

I know that but it doesnt show all the photos like in the gallery. The gallery shows screenshots,downloads,camera shots,instagram photos. I just figured u would be able to see all the photos taken with your phone.
