Android Central Question

I have a Sharp SH-N01 Aquos from Japan. Its a very nice little phone with Android and 4G, but the only thing I cannot use for the life of me is a different keyboard so I can type in my native language (I'm Greek). I can only type Greek with the touchpad mouse that the phone uses, but not with the physical keyboard.

The stock keyboard app works very well with English and Japanese. Any suggestions?

Welcome to Android Central! Is the stock keyboard app Gboard, or just some stock app that Sharp preinstalls? There's no way to add more languages to the keyboard, or is Greek not available? I know for sure Greek is available for Gboard, so give that a try.

It two stock keyboards. Firstly, the Sh-Shoin, which works smoothly with every aspect of the phone, but has Japanese and English only. And second, it has the Google Keyboard, but the AOSP version, that has Greek, but does not type Greek when I use the physical buttons.
