Pic to large to post on forums, help

Hi, new to all this.
I'm trying to post screen shots on m fav sports foums but the forum wont let me as it says there to large to be uploaded. Do i reduce the revolution in phone settings so there smaller files or is there an easier way than this. Thanks so much, cheers.

Copy the files to a PC. Run Paint.net and reduce the size of the picture (Image/Resize). Save the smaller picture and upload it. (There are apps that can do it on the phone - Paint.net is better, and it's easier on a desktop or laptop.)

Cheers, i was hoping for an easy way to do it all on my note5 without an app tbh.

You can't like crop the pics with your photo editor??
