Picasa pics

So i finally handed down my Verizon Tab 10.1 to my Father in law and got me new Nexus 10...i love this Nexus 10!!! But how can I get all these Picasa pics off my Tablet?? I don't like having pics sync down from the cloud that are over 2 year's old.

you have to disable photo sync in google sync settings (settings-->google-->[account]-->photo)
then clear data and cache for gallery app. open gallery again. it should be gone.
