picked up my Garnet Red S3 today

I had gnex for about 6 months but igot tired of charging daily so i jumped to razr maxx so far i like it though it ahs few bugs

But im willing to jump to sgs3 with us version like at&t or tmobile

For a phone exchange (mine is rebooting itself) do they have to reset your upgrade eligibility and introduce more account stress or can they just exchange a phone for a phone and not touch the account?

I love the red. When I first heard of the upcoming red option by at&t, I was skeptical of the quality of the color, but I see that it's very pleasing to the eye.

I do have a question though: can the at&t gs3 be used for international purpose when I'm deported to other bases? Or can it be unlocked to do since its a gsm SIM card phone?

I'm sorry if the noob question, I'm currently and always have been a Sprint user, so I'm slightly uneducated about how gsm phones like gs3 and us gsm carriers works

I think it has to be unlocked. You can do this for $25 or so through some web sites. They can give you unlock codes. You can try and ask att to unlock it but I don't think they will if your in a contract.

Okay thanks, I was thinking about purchasing the red gs3 from at&t w/o contract and use a straight talk SIM while I'm stationed in the US

I got the red one as well on Friday. I was going for the blue, thinking the red wasn't actually out yet when they informed me they had them in the back. Love it so far!

I went to the store in Torrance, CA today around 1pm and traded in my pebble blue for the garnet red. I had to pay the $35 restocking fee.
Let me tell ya, the girl who took care of me, Kimberly, is such a cutie pie. If I wasn't married I might be tempted to ask her out. lol

I am probably the worst cell phone junkie. Ive had a white, blue, and now red SGS3, while in between owning a AT&T One X and a International One X. RED SGS3 wins overall IMHO>

I think i've seen you bouncing around the Galaxy Nexus forums too Trying to sell of my HOX now so I don't switch again. I think i've firmly made the decision to keep the S3 as my daily and the Galaxy Nexus as my backup/hobby phone.

Mine was absolutely against guns, even after I got my xdm. That is until she shot an ar15.
