Picture In Picture Not Working

Anyone having issues all of a sudden with Maps or YouTube TV, etc not displaying on home screen? Mine shows up but then goes away as soon as I try and drag it?

That used to happen to me a few months ago. I don't remember if it was before i upgraded to Android 12 beta or after but it's been resolved. That was the most annoying bug ever and lasted for song time.

Check settings>apps>special access>is those apps toggle on for PIP?

Oh, no! I didn't notice that with my Google Maps application the other day, but I'll check again next time and see what happens!

I went into the app settings and yes each one has PIP set as allowed, really odd. Appreciate the feedback though guys!

Also can try clearing app data and then force stop maybe those apps glitched

You already tried a reboot, I assume?

Could also see if you could test it in Safe Mode (with preinstalled apps only, of course).

yeah I did a reboot and it worked for a minute but it reverted back unfortunately I may have to go the safe mode route

What a great community here! Did some reboots and it's worked intermittently, but today so far so good... appreciate it all
