Picture messages (MMS) won't send

I just picked up a Droid Bionic from Cowboom (coming from a DInc). Like it so far, but it won't send picture messages. Regular txt works fine, but whenever I try to send it immediately fails and I am using the stock messaging app. Any suggestions or anyone else have this with their Bionic?

i had this problem with both the stock texting app and handcent (which i had been using for almost 2 years on previous phone). husband suggested trying verizon messages (please don't be harsh with me). gave it a try and it's now my favorite messaging app. it's flies with inserting photos into mms. here's the market link.
