Picture Texts not going through

I have noticed that when I attach pictures to a text, the texts don't always go through. The little circle thingy (the loading/sending circle) spins and then it looks like its been sent but the recipient doesn't get the text. Other times it will spin and spin and spin...seemingly for ever. then it will look like it went through. I'm really tired of not knowing if people are getting my messages.

Should I change the size setting on the camera?

UGH....am I getting too old (39) for this ?

wait, now that you mention it...I don't see the 3G or 4G on top. That's because im at home with wi fi though right?

If your 3G/4G mobile data isn't on, then pictures won't be sent via texting. That requires MMS, which requires mobile data. It won't send on wifi alone or over the cellular network alone.

Settings>Wireless & Networks, tap "More," then "Mobile networks," then make sure "Data enabled" is checked on.

The box is checked. Thanks for the help thus far. I have been texting pics to a couple of friends. its hit or miss on them going through

What happens if you turn off wi-fi and leave 4G on? Does the MMS go through then?

How is your signal? I know when I try to send MMS messages from work it takes an eternity to go through, but that's because the reception is terrible

Sounds like a data speed connection. ..only time the wheel goes round & round..it's a speed connection issue. ..only other thing is your data plan...Some plans don't allow for picture texting...you have to pay extra for that.....wifi on or off makes no difference in sending & receiving texts..do regular texts come through (non pic texts) if yes and trouble is with picture texts... call Verizon. .you may need a sim card fix
