Pictures taken with the Pixel 9 Pro and XL

More from Ruth Asawa at SFMOMA -- she worked with all kinds of media, not just the wire basket-weaving techniques she's most famous for:

I believe this is made from folded paper, in an origami style.

I thought these line drawings are amazing -- such confident lines!

We're currently visiting Norway, and here are a few photos I took of the varying landscapes we encountered during our journey on the Bergensbanen train from Oslo to Bergen yesterday:

The middle photo was taken about a half-mile east of Finse. I was struck by the isolated house on the left that is located with a clear view of a glacier (at the center of the picture). It was not until later when I noticed that in the distance beyond the rock formation on the right are five skiers heading east across the plateau. Together, the house and the skiers seem to bring a bit of life to an otherwise desolate scene. In my judgment, when it comes to capturing the natural beauty of this country, I can't conceive of being better armed than with the Pixel 9 Pro XL.
