Pictures Taken With Your Evo!

A Few I Took With My HTC EVO Using the Vignette Photo App.

I find that the camera on the EVO performs quite well in nicely lit environments...with its performance being even better when using the Vignette Photo App. With Vingnette, focus is much sharper, there's less chance of blurred shots, and there are lots of built in adjustments and effects.

I am really happy overall with the shots I've included in this post, and the pics below are not heavily Photo-Shopped. The most I did was sharpen them a bit...the same as I would do to shots taken with my DSLR.

To get my best results I shoot at ISO 100. Unfortunately shooting at ISO 100 in poorly lit environments usually results in blurred shots since shutter speeds at that ISO are so slow.

With a steady hand and good light...the EVO can be a real winner.

How did you get the picture of the pizza to look so good? That might be the best indoor low light picture I've seen. I use Vignette too, what settings did you use

yup love em :)

Interesting how some of these images have no exif information tied to them, such as the girl on the beach.

Yeah, as a photographer, I can tell you that there is no way that that was shot with the EVO's camera. The focal depth on the EVO is set at infinity and that is more like an f/2.8 or even an f/1.4...

The camera on the EVO is impressive enough, no need to post photoshopped or edited images...

Double rainbow all the way! Picture taken while I was driving. Windshield wiper is actually straight. A little blurry beause of motion but I think it is an all around cool shot.

My settings were Auto White Balance, ISO 100, Auto Focus Distance, Spot Metering, Anti-Banding Off, No Flash, and a steady hand.

The thing that made the shot turn out great was the fact that there were lights shining down on the pizza in Sbarro.

Just found a new app called Retro Camera. Great camera effects. 4 different camera and 4 different modes. I believe it's similar to hipstamatic for iphone. Just took some shots and will post them up.
