PUERTO RRIICOOOOOOO!!!!

It's not as blue as it seems in the picture. Not even close actually. I dunno why but the blue lights really mess with the sensor on the camera. Not just on my phone, even my regular P&S and my Kodak Zi8.

Hey, I was wondering if anyone else noticed the blue speckle affect in the sky? Is that due to compression? I found some pics taken with an Evo using Vignette and it seems like those dots were gone.

Based on what I've observed, using Vignette doesn't completely get rid of those dots, but it's definitely not as noticeable. But what I've also noticed is even if I use the stock camera, if I focus on the right part of the sky, the little speckles are gone. I'll do some test shots of it tomorrow and post it.

It's gotta be software then. I highly doubt it's a hardware issue as even some really cheap cameras keep a steady color in the sky. Well, I'll be here tomorrow with my new Evo if they have it in stock unlike today.

Its the white balance. Turn ISO 100 and setting to daylight instead of auto and they pretty much go away.

Pic from the Jay-Z/Eminem concert (taken from my facebook upload so pardon the compressions)

1) It's pork. I wanted to rub my face in that meal lol. It was so effing good. That meal, except with mofongo instead is even better... I'm about to have some right now haha...

2) Puerto Rico has some of the most beautiful beaches you'll ever see. As a matter of fact, there's quite a few beaches that are "Blue Flag" beaches. Blue flag beaches are basically the cleanest and nicest beaches in the world. There's about 3400 in the world. 15 are in Puerto Rico. To put that in perspective, there are 0 blue flag beaches in all of the US. And yes, that includes Hawaii, California, and Florida. Considering how small the Island of Puerto Rico is that's quite an achievement. But trust me, ALL beaches in Puerto Rico are absolutely beautiful. The nightlife is great. It also depends on where you're at, and what type of nightlife you're looking for. During the summer, there's a festival in damn near every town in PR. Especially Old San Juan. The festivals there are unbelievable. There's also a lot of festivals on the beaches too. I can't even begin to explain it. The one I went to two years ago I'll never forget. Started around 5 at night, ended at about 10 in the morning. It was a bunch of random people. Puerto Ricans and tourists. Everyone just brought food and drinks, started bbq'ing. A few people brought some instruments and started randomly playing music. Everyone dancing. Huge pig being roasted. All this by the beach. All complete strangers. You'd be surprised at how often things like that happens in PR.. If you're more into the club nightlife, you'll love it too. PLENTY of clubs, lounges and hookah lounges. And most are open every night except Sundays. And drinking isn't as big of a deal as it is back in the US. There's no time frame for when a bar/lounge/club can serve alcohol or even open/close. Hell, some of the breakfast menu's have a liquor section! LOL. Most clubs and lounges are open until about 8am. Let me not even go there with the "Gentlemen's Clubs". Lets just say the rules are a little more "relaxed" here lol.. As for the girls, I can just about guarantee some of the most beautiful women you'll ever see in your life will be in Puerto Rico.. Top that with their sexy *** accents, especially when they speak english.. sweet jesus lol.

3) I've been staying at the San Juan Water and Beach Club in Isla Verde, Carolina, PR. It's about 5 miles from San Juan. I usually don't stay at such touristy places when I come here but I'm still recovering from my knee surgery so I really couldn't do anything crazy anyway. I only paid $401 for 5 days 4 nights, air fair included (flew from JFK in NYC) for this place. You can get really good deals to PR. There's so much to do it's insane. I'd list some stuff but this post is long as it is haha. Sorry. I'm still here. I don't wanna leave lol. But I do miss Jersey. I can't wait to buy a summer house here.. I'm looking at this one property in Fajardo, PR... $55,000 6 brs 4 baths. Gonna run about $300 a month for mortgage. Best part, no property tax in PR ;) Anyway, post done lol. Sorry it was so long..

good stuff sounds nice. thanks for the info. enjoy yourself and safe travels!

p.s. post some more pictures if you can!
