a lot of the pics I see on here, especially the others on this page, are a lot sharper and have more color richness than my pics. is there something I need to do in the settings to get that quality?

Most people use Vignette to take these awesome pictures.

Playing around with Vignette at dusk. Is there any way to get rid of the graininess? Or is that just a fact of taking photos in low light?

Sorta glad I didn't see this thread until after I got my Evo... Some of these pics coulda scared me off But a lot of you have posted awesome shots, so cheers!

Just got my Evo 4 days ago!

I decided to get it when I took my BlackBerry in for the million-and-5th repair (ugh!) and I started playing with the floor model Evo, opened up the camera, pointed it at my fingers, snapped a shot, and saw my dang fingerprints. SOLD! (Didn't hurt that they gave me a big discount on the phone AND shaved a bunch off my bill, either.) Bye bye BrokenBerry!

I have a "thing" about cameras on phones... I mean, I never leave my house without my REAL camera in my purse (which isn't exactly a small camera, so this isn't easy), but I am CONSTANTLY taking pics with phones to quickly send and upload and whatnot. So now that I have a relatively decent camera on a phone, I am really excited.

Here's a couple of the first I took when I got home, no settings changed (just flash turned off), no app used.

African violet on my light stand (I am a hardcore hobby AV grower, I even have a nerdy blog all about it)

Some stir-fry I made... Bad lighting over my desk, so it's a bit blurry.

How do I upload from my phone? I have Android Central wall paper on my phone and I used the Pic say app to put a bubble over Andy and inside the bubble it says "I am ANDROID". I was going to use it for my avatar but its to big I guess. I was going to join this thread buy I can't figure how to upload.

I just relized with this post it did upload, I got an error message that it didn't upload when I tried to upload.
