Great photos and the low light video is impressive. Before coming to this forum I took it from the reveiws I read that the camera was poor.

Some macro examples would nice to see close up detail and some bokeh

Here's a few more samples. One thing I did notice is the autofocus is very annoying. Even if you tap to focus the autofocus will focus the lens back on the center unless you take a photo within half a second of selecting your focus point. The autofocus also seems to struggle in low light.

I've noticed a fair amount of noise in low light photos, hopefully a future update will give us manual controls to mitigate that. Daylight photos are very good and very true to life.

Just received the Oreo update. Some of the auto focus issues I was having seemed to have been fixed. Haven't given it a thorough test yet but so far so good.

Try turning HDR off.

Also if the room is dimly lit then any camera will struggle to keep a moving object in sharp detail in dim light.
