Pictures!

I was hoping for a more "sensation" kinda stylin'. Does anyone else think this phone is rather unattracitve for htc?

HTC seems to be going in that direction, yes. But the back of this phone will feel good in the hand with the curved back. For the longest time I was hoping to see better styling like the aluminium bodied Desire. Not black aluminium like the Inc2, but raw silver aluminium. That would be sweet.

The iPods are chrome, so....no.

The way Apple is trying to sue everyone's pants off these days for just about anything, I wouldn't put it past them to stoop even that low. So much for innovation in the wireless industry. According to Apple we're all supposed to be buying iPhones. Didn't you know?

I won't rehash the arguments that are littered throughout AC, but Apple's actions are neither as simple or malicious as some here make them out to be. They have some very legitimate points, as does Samsung, and HTC.

Just the back leaves a little to be desired to me. The front is as sexy as any phone I have laid eyes on so far. I am holding onto an upgrade and this is my first choice to use it. I had an X that was replaced through warranty 3 times before Verizon giving me an X2 then ultimately a DInc2.

Moto's hardware is amazing and because of that I have checked out the Bionic and continue to keep an eye on the Droid HD(RAZR). Their software is buggy as hell though. The music player was unusable as was the bluetooth. My DInc2 works flawlessly the way I personally use it.

HTC hardware may not be as solid but wow did I like Sense a lot more than I thought I would. It just seams so well thought out and smooth to me. I know DInc owners and TBolt owners complain about battery but I get better life out of my DInc2 with standard battery than I did with my X and extended battery. Hopefully HTC continues this trend with this new phone.

HTC has won me over and I really look forward to the HD screen and Beats integration even if people say the Snapdragon 8660(maybe will have Krait?) won't be as good as the OMAP 4430 I am sure it will be just fine. Even though I will continue to keep an eye on the Droid HD(maybe moto will get some help from GOOGLE with their software?) and Prime this will most likely be my next phone.

I can certainly appreciate that and I know that a lot the current turmoil in the industry is borne out of the broken Patent System and its way of handling things. However, I cannot excuse any of the manufacturers and Apple least of all for not moving past petty differences. I understand that people and companies have the right to protect their intellectual property. What's killing me is the way Apple seems to be making its personal mission (or at least their legal department) to try and block other companies from bringing their products to market. In fact, most of the commands and/or design implementations that are being fought over are inherent in most, if not all touchscreen wireless devices. So I guess what I meant by the previous statement was that I'm totally disgusted by the way the "Patent Wars" are being handled and frustrated that they are potentially stunting the growth of the industry.

This is the phone I was referring to. HTC Legend. Aluminum body. Would be sweet to see a Verizon phone wrapped in that.

The trend is strongly away from metal bodied and even metal framed phones..

For weight reasons.. big glass fronted displays weigh a lot to begin with..

And for technical reasons.. metal interferes with radio operations if not carefully designed.. when 1x and GSM were operating in the tens of kilobits per second, it wasnt such a big deal.. but now with major space constraints and tough antenna design concerns, it makes life a lot harder..

I honestly wish that Android phones would be designed with the charging port on the bottom again.

The big man at Apple thinks every one takes from him. He hates android, He wants
to kill them!!!!!!!!!:(

Its an HTC device! Battery life will suck!!!

I've got an Incredible 2 that gets around 2 days out of it's battery. Before LTE HTC didn't have the greatest battery life, but it wasn't that much less than the others. But having the least amount of time to work on LTE battery life (Thunderbolt was released first, the rest a month or more later) isn't a way to really gauge them on. I'd personally give up an hour of battery life rather than deal with the issues some of the other LTE's have (build quality, skin issues, etc.).
