Pie Beta will get final release?

the real release is in January
Pie Beta will it get final release? or you have to start again when final release is available?
meaning formating deleting the beta then install the real android pie release in January?

Based on prior betas, they are typically upgradable to final release. However from my own experience I typically factory default the phone at some point during beta or at carrier release. The phone just always works better after a factory default.

And, regardless of what Samsung promotes, you won't see the release version in January. Maybe February at the earliest.
