Android Central Question

Hello I have an issue with my Samsung Galaxy Tab S2. I have searched online many times with no luck.
When the tablet is locked there is a small yellow circle on the lock screen up in the top right corner next to the battery indicator.
It has an outline of a head on it I think it is for if there is different users.
When I touch it it displays my lock screen pin number.
So any one could see it and unlock the tablet.

I can't figure out how to remove it

Thanks in advance for any help
Calvin

sorry I could not reply until I created and account.
Thanks for your help Yes in safe mode it is still there.

Are you certain you're not in Guest Mode, or in any other user profile besides your own? Are there any accessibility options turned on?

Only High contrast keyboard and Samsung subtitles. and if I turn them off it is still there.
I saw that on a forum and tried it earlier and just now in safe mode.
And never set up other profiles than the original one.
Dont think in guest mode all else looks fine IE email accounts and stuff.

I'm going to move this to the Tab S2 forum for more specific traffic. Maybe other Tab S2 owners will see the thread more easily there and weigh in!

first is with out touching and second is after touch showing the pin.

and just a reminder it is only on the lock screen

Pardon the basic question, but the name of the user profile isn't the same as the PIN, right?

check in security settings see if "Make Password visible on" is toggle on ?

Access to user profile name: swipe down, tap yellow circle, will bring up user's list, tap "you", then details below to get to edittable field where you can remove/edit the pin reference. other navigation path in is settings/user/you

Cool that was it!!! Thank you :D
I did that and changed the account name that was the pin
I kinda thought it had something to do with the pin being the user name but could not figure out how to get there.

Once I saw where it took me I see I can also get there from settings, Cloud and accounts, users.
Don't know how I missed that

Thanks again

A-ha! I thought it was something like that. Thanks to 19sparky82!
