Some help would be greatly appreciated.
Just like the title says, I went to unlock the tablet like I do 500 times a day and 2 seconds after typing in the Pin passcode the tablet reset.
Thinking nothing of it, because it has randomly reset maybe 5 times since I bought it, I put my Pin back in once it rebooted and it says incorrect, so I try again--Incorrect.

I know what the Pin is, I did not forget it.
I am the only one who uses the tablet and did not change the Pin.
I do not want to factory reset the thing and lose hundreds of pages of handwritten lecture notes.
I tried to find the answer online but have only seen Skeptics and people telling me I only have one option(To factory reset) which is not an option to me.

Can anybody help me?

Isn't there another option to login with a gmail account after you type the password wrong many times?

Could this be the work of the heartbleed bug since any device that uses open SSL is affected?

happened to me as well. I thought it might be the wifi unlocker app I had installed. In any case, I had to do a factory reset.
