I have tried both. Are you tapping the attachment first to expand it to fullscreen? Or are you just trying to zoom in while in the body of the email?
The jpg is embedded in the email, not attached and can't be downloaded. When I long press on it I don't get any option pop upCan you tell what resolution the attached photo is in? If it's only thumbnail size, you won't be able to zoom in much, if at all. If you're not sure, download the photo to your phone and look at the file info using the file manager app.
The only thing that happened when I long pressed was under my fingertip a very small version of the jpg appears and can be moved as I slide my finger. When I lift my finger the mico version disappears.Ok, I tested it myself -- in the email, long-press the image, and see if a View Image option appears. If so, tap that, and then when you see the fullscreen image, you should be able to zoom in.
It's Gmail and the source is from my Home Owners AssociationAre you using the Gmail app, or some other email client?
Is this a Gmail account that's receiving the email, or some other email account, like a Microsoft Exchange account? And you mentioned it only happens from one particular source -- what source is that?
Thank you for your efforts to help me.Can you see what it looks like on the Gmail web interface on your computer browser? Are you able to get image info (like the resolution or filesize) there? Is the image much bigger on the computer?
