Pinhole in flash ring

I have had this phone for less than 48 hours, but I have noticed a small hole in the flash ring around the camera.

Is that supposed to be there, or did I already break something?

That's probably a microphone.

I have it also on the edge of flash ring(barely noticeable) in the 1-2 o'clock position.

i have it as well, also if you look at the pictures of it in the play store product it shows the pinhole too so it seems like part of the design

HA! I did the same thing. When I got it last November, I left T-Mobile and was down the road when I saw it. Turned around and went back to say it was cracked. They all looked at it with confused looks and someone looked up at the poster... Same hole. Then a dude came from out back and said 'it's a mic.'

Yep, felt stupid.
