Pink hue?

First rule of owning a Samsung SAMOLED: set it to "basic." It's the most accurate phone display anywhere after that simple setting change.
Interesting. Any quick fixes on their customer service? Lol. Might make me go back to them if that can be fixed.

I'm noticing a pink hue as well. Although, after staring at the 10 for awhile, it makes nexus 6 display look yellow.

I compared it to my older Nexus 5 and 4 and both are LCD. The 10 still has a slight pink hue and it even makes it feel kinda soft or washed. Going to compare it with some display units.

I just got mine today and I notice the pink hue when I tilt the phone. When looking straight on its good but tilted away or towards it gets a tone. Probably has to do with the screen polarization.

Mine is Definitely pink compared to my m8. Both phones at Max brightness and the m8 is much sharper. Still Playing with Settings though

Yeah I went to Verizon and looked. It's pretty much the same hue.

Found a setting that's not so pink. Not as bright of a white as I'm used to, but I'm sure in a few weeks I won't notice the difference.

If you switch to vivid and adjust the level all the way to the right (colder), the pink hue is almost non-existent. :-)

So I'm still hearing mixed things about this issue - 2 weeks in with the phone here in the US.

The problem seems to be caused by some form of adhesive or coating between the glass and LCD panel that needs the display to heat up in order for the pink to go away.

Here is what I found from some searching online:

The Good:

It seems that there are permanent and temporary fixes to this problem.

Solution 1: Keep the phone on full brightness (manual mode) for as long as possible until the pink disappears when you lower the brightness to your desired setting. Some users have tried this for 2 weeks or less and found it to work.
Solution 2: Place the phone in direct sunlight or UV light until the problem dissipates.
Solution 3: Adjust the Color Profile settings - such as moving the Vivid colors to a colder setting
Solution 4: Just use the phone as normal until it goes away or your eyes adjust. Or you just decide to overlook it lol.

The Bad

There seems to be only a small population of people that are observing this - me included :'( . So that would mean that this is a manufacturer defect at the least and you would need to return/exchange for a new one. This would only be applicable if you don't want to try any of the solutions and if the solutions don't work.

Here are some of the links to the solutions:

Let me know what you guys think.

As for me, I'm currently trying all of the listed solutions for 1 week now and still not noticing any changes. I will continue for 2 more weeks before I throw in the towel and get a new one.

This is what I did and I actually prefer a cooler color on my tvs also so this worked out well with having the ability with a phone. I barely notice it at angles, but thats it now. Looks about as perfect as Id expect.
