Pixel 2 and Facebook

My wife got her Pixel 2 today. After setup, Facebook was working fine. Then this evening it started saying 'cant connect'. Works from other devices, including her old Nexus 5X. Anyone see this or have any ideas?

Yes, and pretty much every other app....

try clearing data settings>application manager>Facebook>storage>clear data

or restart your phone

Try metal. It uses far less resources.

I get can't connect popping up a lot on the Facebook app on my s7 edge so I'd say it's the app, not the phone. been happening for a week or so

I logged out of FB and back on and it worked fine then.
